Understand the patterns that follow you into relationships.
You might want closeness and still pull away when someone gets near. Or you may work hard to keep the peace, then feel resentful or unheard. These patterns can be confusing, especially when you can see them happening but struggle to respond differently.
A space to understand your experience
- People-pleasing and difficulty saying no
- Feeling anxious about closeness, rejection, or conflict
- Withdrawing when relationships feel overwhelming
- Loneliness, boundaries, and asking for what you need
How we'll work
We'll explore what happens in important moments: what you notice, what you expect from the other person, and what you do to protect yourself. Attachment is one way to understand expectations about closeness; it is not a fixed label.
Gestalt-informed attention to the present moment can help us notice patterns as they show up. IFS-informed parts work offers language for different feelings or protective impulses, such as wanting connection while fearing it. We'll use what fits your experience without forcing a particular framework.
This is individual therapy focused on your relationships, rather than couples therapy.
